CITY SHADE COMPANY, a Florida corporation, and its affiliates (collectively known herein as “CSC”), with a business address in Boynton Beach, Florida provides the following product warranty. The terms "we", "us", and "CSC " refer to CITY SHADE COMPANY, and its affiliates.

CSC is confident that all products manufactured in its facility are free from defects due to workmanship or materials under normal usage and thereby provides a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty, as follows:

CSC provides a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty that is non-transferable and limited in scope. All claims made under this Warranty will be governed by the terms set out in this warranty document.

Your custom-made rollers, roman shades and drapery track products (“Products”) are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use, with the exception of cords, which are only warranted for a period of one (1) years from date of purchase. Beaded chains are warranted for one (1) year from purchase.

If a defect arises while a Product is under warranty, CSC, at its option, will (1) repair the Product at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or (2) exchange the Product with a product with equivalent functionality formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability or with your consent, a product that is at least functionally equivalent to the product it replaces. This warranty excludes normal depletion of consumable parts such as cords unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship and damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, unauthorized repairs or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship. In the event that there are multiple Products in the same room or home, only the defective Product will be repaired or replaced.

CSC warrants its motors to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of five (5) years starting from the date stamped on the motor. CSC also warrants the accessories for motorized solutions for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

The warranty does not cover damage and deterioration due to the following reasons: normal wear and tear of the product, abuse, exposure to salt air, improper operation, accident, improper cleaning, misapplication, alterations, improper handling, misuse, damage from pets, improper installation, and high wind conditions.

In no event shall CSC be liable for (a) loss or damage, which as of the product’s purchase cannot be regarded as being caused by CSC’s breach of these warranty terms; or (b) losses caused by the user’s fault, loss of use or loss of profits or benefits. Any limitations of liability in this warranty document shall not apply to (i) death or personal injury pursuant to any mandatory law on product liability; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (iii) intentional misconduct or gross negligence; (iv) or a culpable breach of major contractual obligations. A damages claim based on a breach of major contractual obligations or gross negligence will be limited to foreseeable damage typical for the sale contract concerned.
